Carter, the firm strives to provide exceptional service to its clients. A hands-on problem solver with advanced computer skills, Ana has spent her entire career in the financial services industry. Some of her specific strengths are in financial reporting, net capital management and day-to-day accounting functions. She is proficient in the examination and evaluation of fixed income and institutional trading, cash management, and financial statement and operational analysis. Her experience also includes involvement with systems and clearing platform conversions, financial integration of acquisitions and management of accounting operations of a broker/dealer generating annual revenues in excess of $150 million. Ana has a Baccalaureate degree in Finance from the University of South Florida and holds FINRA Licenses Series 7, 27, 28, 63 and 99.

Rick is a Chief Financial and Operating Officer with a unique blend of experience in Broker Dealer, Investment Banking and Capital Markets businesses. His experience includes assessing internal controls over financial reporting and operational risk, and developing effective and efficient business processes and operations. Rick has considerable project management experience in back office and financial operations, and is skilled at improving an organization’s ability to assimilate, integrate and analyze a wide range of financial and operational data. He has spent over 30 years in high level roles at the SEC, Citigroup and PwC. Rick has a Baccalaureate degree in Business Administration (Finance) and an MBA in Finance from Long Island University. He holds FINRA Licenses Series 27 and 63.
Anya V. Cross

As the former Chief Financial Officer and FINOP of a large introducing broker dealer, Anya has a wide range of experience in overseeing the financial operations of a BD with multiple lines of business. She has developed and implemented internal controls, managed net capital compliance, and supervised fiscal responsibility and liquidity management for multiple related entities. Anya is CMA certified and highly skilled in managing the preparation of financial statements. She is proficient in intracompany accounts and financial statement consolidations. Anya has a Baccalaureate degree in Finance from Ryerson University. She holds FINRA Licenses Series 7, 27 and 66.
Marlon Bevaun, CPA

Marlon has more than 16 years of experience in accounting serving the financial services industry primarily focusing on broker dealers financial and regulatory reporting. He specializes in the highly regulated broker-dealer environment, having strong knowledge of the SEC net capital and books & records rules and reporting requirements. He previously served in various senior financial roles at GTS Securities, Dash Financial Technologies and Genesis Trading.
Marlon is a Certified Public Accountant and FINRA Registered Financial and Operations Principal (Series 27). He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and a Masters in Accountancy both from Brooklyn College City University of New York.

Having over 20 years of accounting experience, Mary Beth has worked in a variety of different industries such as Educational, Newspaper/Media, Financial Services and Tropical Fish Farming & Distribution. With an eye for detail, she has always put her customers first and knows the importance of meeting their financial deadlines. Mary Beth has recently moved from the busy Tampa life to the peaceful mountains of West Virginia.

Some of the projects our team has been involved in:

  • Numerous years of holding the CFO and FINOP roles for a variety of firms (full service independent broker dealers, investment banks, dual registered BD/RIA’s, etc);
  • Implementation and conversion of accounting and commission systems;
  • Conversion of payroll providers and 401k plan administrators and providers;
  • Design and development of branch and department based financial reporting structure;
  • Analysis of rep and branch profitability and ROI;
  • Concept to working model production of budgets with continuous budget-to-actuals reporting;
  • Due diligence of acquisition targets and on-boarding of large teams;
  • Have assisted in numerous New Membership and Continuing Membership Applications;
  • Assistance with the wind down of broker dealers before, during and after sale of assets and/or BDW;
  • Intra-company reporting and management;
  • Development of policies and tools for moment-to-moment net capital compliance and forecasting;
  • Creation, implementation and enforcement of accounting, commissions and other finance policies and procedures.
